Early Intervention Information If you know of a family with concerns about their infant, toddler or preschooler's growth or learning (birth to age 6), have them call for a free screening. Services through schools, public health and social services can start at as early as birth. The Minnesota North Star QIRS will also provide parents with specific quality indicators in the form of program ratings to help them make choices for their children’s care and education.
