Link will go out at the end of June to all members.* "Self-Paced: Effective Educators: Bilingualism Basics " KCF: X: Working with Multilingual Preschoolers and Their Families Trainer: Hannah Riddle Description: Learn about second language acquisition in young children. This training offers educators a brief foundation of the different areas of language, as well as an overview of the role of motivation and need in language learning for young children. Lastly, this training includes strategies for applying this knowledge to teaching practice. Location: Self-paced

40 HOURS OF TRAINING! Register for DevelopMinnesota has moved towards an online system for tracking training and professional development. As this transition takes place, many training sponsors will no longer offer training certificates. FCCI is an approved Develop training sponsor and, while we will continue to offer paper certificates for the time being, we are also recording attendance in the Develop registry.
All providers must sign in at the membership desk and verify your Develop number. This will facilitate entry of your attendance at our training. Without your Develop number FCCI is not able to enter you attendance and you will be responsible to send in a copy of your training certificate to the registry for licensor review. FCCI is no longer able to help you register for Develop at the trainings so please do that prior to attending by clicking the link below.
