May 9, 2011 Celebrating the Week of the Family Child Care Provider and FCCI Volunteer RecognitionMayor Brede joined our event to read the city's proclamation of the week of the family child care provider. Linda Demoe shared inspiring words with "A Funny bone, a wish bone and a back bone" as her message.

May 8, 2010 Annual Provider Banquet "If Life is a Picnic, Who Invited the Ants?"Mayor Ardel Brede read the city proclamation of the Week of the Family Child Care Provider, Gina Grove presented "If Life's a Picnie, Who Invited the Ants?", Dinner catered by Canadian Honker, and door prizes for all banquet attendees.

October 12, 2009 Annual Membership Drive and workshop featuring Julie TorkelsonOver 80 providers attended this fun evening filled with door prizes, a 50/50 raffel, light refreshments and the enery, enthusiasm and excellent training by Julie Torkelson. Congratulations to our 2 top prize winners who won handmade quilts donated by the Quilters at Redeemer Lutheran Church, and the lucky 50/50 raffel winner's jackpot was $168.

August 10th, 2009 Monthly Workhsop, National Eagle CenterOur August workshop featured a very special guest, Angel, from the National Eagle Center located in Wabasha, MN. Abbey, an intern at the centered, shared information about Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles for providers to incorporate into a theme unit. Angel had a lite snack of rabbit, and providers were able to pose with Angel. More information can be found at http://www.nationaleaglecenter.org

May 11, 2009 Annual Provider Banquet! Rockn' to the 50'sWhat a great celebration! There were several providers who got into the spirit of Rockn' to the 50' with letter jackets, scarves, jeans and saddle shoes! There were plenty of class rings too. There were many door prizes and grand prizes for the oldest class ring, and the oldest letter jacket of the evening. Pat McGill, our featured speaker, shared her unique style and inspiring message.

Family Fun Night, May 5th 2009Family Child Care, Inc, participated in the local Family Fun night. Over 800 children and families enjoyed the evening. Children pulled a duck from the pond for a prize and color sheet. Parents were introduced to several family child care providers and were able to learn more about family child care and our local association!
