Bills relating to the deduction of union dues from CCAP funds

New April 22, 2012! Senate file 1630, the companion bill to HF 1766 which will prohibit the deduction of union dues or fees from Child Care Assistance payments vetoed by Governor Dayton.
Ramsey County District Court hears final arguments re: Executive Order
2/22/2012 The Ramsey County District Court heard final summary arguments regarding the child care provider's lawsuit challenging Governor Dayton's authority to write the Executive Order. The ruling will be made within the next 90 days.
A second Federal suit has been filed on January 19, 2012 to challenge unionization in Federal court and will be heard on May 15th, 2012

FCCI attends the April 2009 Focus on the Children Conference in Rochester MN.
Family Child Care, Inc, participated in the local Family Fun night. Over 800 children and families enjoyed the evening. Children pulled a duck from the pond for a prize and color sheet. Parents were introduced to several family child care providers and were able to learn more about family child care and our local association! May 2009
